Numenurgy: The Mountain

The Mountain is a domain of spirits and ancestors, from which all of life has been born. Now that you are coming of age, it is up to you to enter the Mountain and find your new name by challenging your ancestors.

Numenurgy roughly translates to “the work of natural will,” and describes the full range of emotions and feelings, which correspond on the Mountain to a custom deck of cards you use to play the game: Blood, Flames, Light, Water, Earth, and Grief.  Using your deck, you will undergo three different types of challenges with your party, and create your own to present to your friends. In this book is a section for creating your character and deck, systems for travel, relationship, and combat challenges, and instructions on how to create your own ancestors, settings, and trials for you and your group.
