DOOM for d20 Fantasy

Two forces determine the end of mortal existence. The gods, whether kind or malicious, wish for mortals the power to make decisions, mirrors of their own self-determination. But the other force, that of a fixed and ever present end, is the source of all horror and tragedy for mortalkind. Those who have seen the End of All Things, the flames and wrath and utter despair with which it crashes onto all existence like an unending hellfire, know their DOOM is coming, and it is inescapable. 

DOOM is a progressive system of power to grant to your TTRPG character, at the cost of the freedom to determine their own fates. It builds in five stages, each offering power and pushing a character further down the slope towards a tragic and inexorable fate. This system is compatible with most d20 fantasy, such as Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, Dungeon Crawl Classics, and Mork Borg.
